The Murder of Servius Tullius

Description: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Servius_Tullius

Descripcion foto: Servius Tullius was the legendary sixth king of Rome and the second of its Etruscan dynasty. He was a popular King and one of Rome's most significant benefactors. He reigned for 44 years until he was murdered by his daughter Tullia and his son-in-law Lucius Tarquinius Superbus outside the Curia Hostilia: Servius Tullius was thrown down the steps of the Curia by Lucius Tarquinius, murdered in the street by Tarquin's men and drove over by a chariot driven by his daughter. Lucius Tarquinius Superbus became then King of Rome until a popular uprising led to the establishment of the Roman Republic.
