Description: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurence_Shirley,_4th_Earl_Ferrers
Descripcion foto: Laurence Shirley, 4th Earl Ferrers, was an English nobleman, notable for being the last peer to be hanged, following his conviction for murdering his steward. He had a family history of insanity, and from an early age his behavior seems to have been eccentric, and his temper violent. In 1758, his wife obtained a separation from him for cruelty, which was rare for the time. On 18 January 1760 after some business conversation, he shot his steward, who died the following day. Laurence was then tried for murder and found guilty. On 5 May 1760, aged 39, he was taken in his own carriage from the Tower of London and hanged by Thomas Turlis.
