Description: The village of Písečné is situated in a beautiful landscape only a few kilometers from the Austrian border. The first mention of the monument dates from 1377. In the middle of the 16th century, the Krokvicars of Nová Ves had a Gothic fortress rebuilt into a Renaissance chateau. The last private owners were the Italian Collalt family.
